The face behind Blooming Minds

"When children feel confident, they bloom."

Hi, I'm Anna. With a background in primary education, I believe learning is about more than the next result. It's about helping children recognise their strengths, overcome challenges and believe they can succeed.

I started Blooming Minds so every child could have learning support delivered with purpose, care and a personalised approach.

Questions parents ask

How much does tutoring cost?

Weekly lessons are $120 for 60 minutes. Packages bring the price down to $110 a lesson: a Block of 3 is $330, a Block of 5 is $550 and a Full Term of 10 lessons is $1,100.

Who are your tutors?

Our tutors are registered teachers with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), which includes police checks. We choose them for their warmth as much as their teaching skill.

Where do lessons happen?

In your home or at your local library, across the Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne's South East. Your teacher comes to you.

What year levels do you teach?

Prep to Year 6, covering reading, phonics, writing and maths. Secondary support is coming soon, so let us know if you're interested.

How will I know how my child is going?

You get a short written summary after every lesson: what was covered, how it went and something to practise at home. Your schedule, summaries and invoices are all in the family portal.

What if I need to cancel or move a lesson?

Let us know as early as you can. You can ask to cancel or move a lesson in the family portal. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may still be charged.
