How lessons work
Every lesson is 60 minutes, one-on-one, with a trained teacher in your home or at your local library. In the first lesson your teacher gets to know your child and finds exactly where they're up to. From there, each lesson builds on the last.
After every lesson you get a short written summary, so you always know what was covered and how to help at home.
What we cover in secondary and VCE
English
Reading closely, text response and analytical essays, persuasive and creative writing, and the VCE English and EAL study designs.
Maths
Number, algebra, geometry, statistics and problem solving in Years 7 to 10, and VCE General and Mathematical Methods.
Science
Years 7 to 10 science: understanding the big ideas, scientific skills and writing up experiments.
Study skills and organisation
Planning assignments, managing deadlines, note-taking, revision and exam technique, so students work smarter.

Lessons are taught by trained teachers across the Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne's South East.

Secondary & VCE tutoring questions
Which VCE subjects do you tutor?
We focus on VCE English and maths (General and Methods), along with study skills and exam preparation. Ask us about other subjects; we'll tell you honestly whether we have the right teacher.
Who teaches secondary students?
Secondary lessons are taught by teachers trained in secondary teaching, matched to your child's subjects and year level, and every tutor holds a current Working with Children Check.
How much are secondary lessons?
Years 7 to 10 are the same as primary: $120 a lesson, or $110 a lesson in a package. VCE (Years 11 and 12) lessons are $140, or $130 a lesson in a package.
Can you help with SACs and exams?
Yes. We help students understand the task, plan their response and practise under timed conditions, while making sure all SAC work stays their own, as VCAA rules require.
